Professor Gurupdesh S. Pandher is working on Using Regression Analysis to Value a Condominium Project: The Miami Floridian by Draper & Kramer. The case is a regression-based method for pricing the 334 condominiums of The Floridian in Miami Beach is presented which relates market prices of Miami Beach condominiums to unit characteristics (living area, age, floor), mortgage financing costs and information on location and view. The modeling and estimation may also be used to evaluate the profitability and viability of a condominium project at the point of inception.
Professor Kevin Stevens is working on Identifying Tax Issues in Real Estate Before Its Too Late. The case looks into issues related to incorporating raw land into a C corporation.
