Membership Levels
The Real Estate Center at DePaul University is the premier resource for professional real estate education in the Midwest. The Center serves as the productive home for Chicago's real estate community and an active network of students and alumni, public institutions, private real estate firms, scholars and executives-in residence. The Real Estate Center provides not only traditional academic programs but high-profile continuing education and conferences of specific interest to the real estate community.
Individuals and corporations can become members and support The Real Estate Center by making tax deductible contributions at one of three levels:
Sustaining Sponsor: this membership requires a $10,000 per year contribution, with a minimum three year commitment, for a total of $30,000. Sustaining Sponsors may be corporations, trusts, foundations, associations, or individuals.
Sustaining Sponsors play a major role in guiding the direction of The Real Estate Center; they participate in committees that govern the Center and may serve on the executive committee. Sustaining Sponsor benefits are:
- The designated Sponsor representative participates in one of six committees to guide the direction of the Center
- Chairmen of the six operating committees serve as members on the Executive Committee
- Attend the Spring and Fall annual Sponsor business meetings
- Mentor DePaul real estate students
- Recruit new industry professionals with the on-line resume book
- Participate in the annual Collegiate Real Estate Conference as a panelist
- Guest lecture in the classroom
- Attend the annual Spring professional development/social event
- Attend the annual Fall Back to School Reception
- Attend the annual exclusive Sustaining & Corporate Sponsor Speaker Series, an informal and topical conversation with faculty members and experts
- Participate in conferences and continuing education courses as guest speakers, panelists or lecturers
- Receive recognition in all Center-related events and marketing materials
- Membership to the DePaul President’s Club for individual donors
Corporate Sponsor: this membership requires an annual contribution from a corporation in the amount of $5,000. Corporate Sponsor benefits include:
- Mentor DePaul real estate students
- Recruit new industry professionals with the on-line resume book
- Participate in the annual Collegiate Real Estate Conference as a panelist
- Guest lecture in the classroom
- Attend the annual Spring professional development/social event
- Attend the annual Fall Back to School Reception
- Attend the annual exclusive Sustaining & Corporate Sponsor Speaker Series, an informal and topical conversation with faculty members and experts
- Participate in conferences and continuing education courses as guest speakers, panelists or lecturers
- Receive recognition in all Center-related events and marketing materials
Supporting Member: this membership requires an annual contribution from an individual in the amount of $2,500 renewable annually. The membership fee entitles the member to:
- Invitation to the Annual Fall Back to School Reception
- Participation in the Mentor Program
- Utilization of the on-line resume book to recruit new talent
- Invitation to the annual exclusive Supporting Member Speaker Series
- Invitation to the Spring professional development/social event
- Membership to the DePaul President’s Club
Associate Member: this membership, designed for real estate professionals early in their career, is available to individuals aged 35 and younger. The membership fee is $500, renewable annually, and entitles the member to:
- Invitation to the Annual Fall Back to School Reception
- Invitation to the Spring professional development/social event
- Invitations to DePaul Real Estate Alumni Alliance (DREAA) events
